Well history is set in stone but perceptions change. The context from 2014 makes me glad that they got to #1 with this. The song starts strong with the dirty synthesizer sounding good, and still sounds pretty good today. I also like the little sprinkling of musical melodies during the verses alongside the banging beat. It starts to lose momentum after that though. For the choruses, that loud synth becomes a point of bother as it uncomfortably clashes with the sounds around it. For what is already a short song, there seems to be a severe lack of new ideas being introduced, ends up a little underwhelming. 3.3

I loathed it at the time but it's average now. I'm still not anywhere near close to liking it though and it's a shame it's their only #1 as "Untouched" is a lot better and this is their worst single.
