NO NO NO NO NO!

This just does not work at all. I don't even know why Ronan bothered picking a song that is apparently "out of his comfort zone" if he was going to make it sound indie/folk like. The only thing that would be out of his comfort zone is the lyrics.

This folkifying of the song does not work. It reminds me of when they tried to rockify Stayin' Alive for Reece Mastin. It was just a massive fail. This is exactly the same. Turning an '80s pop song into a Mumford & Sons like performance is a really bad idea and cringeworthy!

I fail to understand why so many are buying this so it is currently at #1 on the iTunes Chart. Please Australia stop buying this garbage and buy his other performance instead. Or better yet stop buying these X Factor things altogether. The worst X Factor thing on this years season!

Not as bad as I expected it to be. Good performance actually.

Better this at #1 than Roar. :P

He sounded good as always and while it was most certainly pointless to do this song as a way to take him out of his comfort zone and then modify it so that it was right back in his comfort zone, it was still enjoyable.

I think it works well! I really enjoyed this performance!

Fiddle-de-dee grab a shiny potato let's bluegrass all up in this shit! Not for me. 2.5

Das Gefiedel ist bei dieser Fassung dieses häufiger interpretierten Stücks noch das Beste – 1.75…

Not bad.

Whatever.

I honestly thought this would have been the performance that would win him the X Factor. Strong vocals as always, but unlike the usual X Factor performance, I especially enjoy the audio track on this one. It's the only reality show cover I have ever gone out of my way to listen to on a regular basis.

TRASH!

Good cover. Obscure song choice but it works.

Strange but nice
