My nomination for the most generic and uninteresting song of the year. So boring and lifeless, hardly anything to enjoy here. Honestly sounds like a Taio Cruz or Timomatic song. The vocals are good but not enough to make it any more interesting. Definitely not worthy of it's top 3 position. So glad it deservedly flopped

Haha, DNA Songs must be really moving up in the world. To their credit, this doesn't sound like their brand of genericism, but instead a more international one. It would not shock me if the success of this release would give them the idea to further pursue this sound.<br><br>There is something instantly familiar in the chorus here. I feel as though I've heard nearly the exact thing before but I just can't seem to nail it down. The closest thing that I can bring to mind would be Pitbull's "Rain Over Me". Even some of the hooks are shared between the two!<br><br>I'm inclined to dislike this because the notion of having more than the 1 expected hyperactive dance mess in the top 10 frustrates me; I am not hungry for the return of 2010 homogeneity. But I do have to commend this somewhat. Unlike say Timomatic's "Parachute" which is all over the shop because of the desire to ensure a hook every 6 seconds, this at least feels more natural. Ricky is nearly reduced of any charisma here, but the product is at least smooth and natural. I can nearly pass it for that. 3.25 |

Ich hab lieber ein Testbild als die unqualifizierten Meldungen bestimmter Personen in den Reviews aber das ist eine andere Geschichte 😁 - Der Song ist ganz okay und dem damaligen Trend angepasst, auf übertrieben Latino-Klischees wurde hier auch verzichtet, sicherlich kein Song für die Ewigkeit aber nett anzuhören |
